In this blog post, we are thrilled to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey of transformation that our space, Tangle Wood, has undergone. From a neglected area to a vibrant community hub, the story of Tangle Wood is a testament to the power of community spirit, hard work, and a shared vision for a brighter future.
The Beginning:
It all began last year when Rachel and Mark took on the daunting task of clearing a massive 64ft by 20ft space, transforming what was once an eyesore into a usable, welcoming area. This marked the start of something truly special—a journey that would bring together individuals from all walks of life, united by a common goal.
The Progress:
Fast forward to nine weeks ago, and we witnessed another surge of energy and commitment to get Tangle Wood ready to open its doors to the community. As a charitable group with aspirations to register as a Charitable Trust, this project was monumental. Yet, it perfectly encapsulated our mission: fostering community cohesion, promoting physical and mental well-being, and creating educational and social opportunities, particularly for young people.
