Veteran’s Christmas Campaign 2024 saw over 150 Christmas cards and boxes of biscuits distributed to Veterans in the community as well as £1000 donated towards Oldham Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club for their Christmas meal and £500 to Broughton House Veteran Care Village.
In December 2024 we joined forces with Grotton, Springhead and Lees to hold a raffle; raising funds for three local causes chosen by the group members. £1000 was raised; £250 going each to Leesfield Preschool, Oldham Cats and Dr. Kershaw’s Hospice as the chosen charities; but also £250 was allocated to individuals nominated within the community to benefit from a good will gesture too.
